Wealth Management
Investing in the market is a challenging process. A stock’s performance will change over time. If avoiding losses is your primary objective—which we believe it should be—you must do your research and choose the right investments at the right times. To achieve this, we think it would be ideal to collaborate with a financial advisor who employs an “active” approach to money management. We might be able to help with this. But what is “active” wealth management?
Active” and “passive” wealth management are quite different. If your investments are “passively” managed, it means no one is keeping an eye on or managing them. Over time, this might work fine, but as you get closer to retirement, the risk associated with this strategy might become too much to handle. On the other hand, active money management entails getting advice on investments from a financial advisor in an effort to reduce losses and improve your long-term performance.

Annual Meetings
During our annual meetings with clients, we review their goals, financial status, and the success of their current retirement strategy. We also look for potential areas for improvement. Your situation may change over time, so the answer might not be as simple as selling you something and calling it a day. Instead, we take the time to communicate with clients often and make sure everything is operating as it should be.
How can you determine if your current retirement strategy is still working for you? Over the course of a year, a number of things could affect your assets. Fortunately, we might be able to help you stay on course. Among the changes that might occur are:
Your asset allocation may be out of balance
Your portfolio may not be as diversified as you think
Your financial goals may have changed over the course of the year
Your life situation could've unexpectedly changed, too
Changes in laws (such as tax laws) also happen frequently
